Our first track "GRANGEBARN (1) [A.SH-OUT]" is full to the brim with bassy crackles and remnants of what could be a melody or some sort of a tone. Perhaps they are heavily processed samples?
The second track is "GRANGEBARN (2) [Decoupling of Wishes]". To me it sounds like when you are outside a club playing a marching pace song, but its been fractured to a point that the rhythm is basically gone. As it progresses we hear more tones and maybe very subtle digital percussion. Some sections do take on more of a rhythm and what sounds like a touch of some synthy keys. Some small vocal snippets seem to appear here and there too, oscillating in and out with other bits and pieces.
Our final track "GRANGEBARN (3) [Effaced.]" seems to have some what of a fractured pulse too. The same outside the club vibe strikes me
with a few quiet voices or songs popping in briefly. Then some more synth notes appear, quiet and perhaps improvised, I can't be sure.
This 3 piece release is another well executed and somewhat meditative release from mhzesent. I highly recommend it.
